This entertaining and indulgent tasting encounter features 8 locally brewed Craft Beers and four Artisanal Cheeses in fun, casual hot spots in the heart of Old City Philadelphia! This event is perfect for everyone who loves beer, wants to try some new brews, and is looking for something fun to do.

During this entertaining and delicious 2-hour adventure, a fun and knowledgeable food expert will introduce you to a wonderful, boutique cheese shop and one of the city's best microbreweries.

Not only will you taste amazing food, but we'll give you the chance to meet the owners and learn what to look for in truly great food.

This adventure begins in one of the city's premier microbreweries, then continues in a hidden favorite among locals, just a few blocks away.

With less than 15 minutes of walking, this event is relaxing and enjoyable for guests of any ability.

All participants for this tour must be at least 21 years of age.

Unfortunately, there are no waiting lists for our tours.

Q: What happens if it rains?
The tours will take place in all light weather conditions. In rare circumstances such as a heavy snowstorm, a hurricane, or other extreme weather when the tour venues can't open, the tour would be canceled.

Q: What places will we go on the tour?
You will be visiting Triumph Brewing Company and Old City Cheese Shop.

Q: How much food will I eat on the tour?
You'll be tasting a variety of foods and beverages at two locations. Please keep in mind that the tours are not designed to be a full balanced meal but a tasting adventure!

Q: Will I be able to drink anything on the tour?
Yes! Every tour guest receives a complimentary bottle of water. This tour features a tasting of 8 different beers.

Q: Is there a lot of walking on the tour?
You will walk a total of just five and a half blocks at a very leisurely pace, so you should have no problem.

Q: Will I learn about Philadelphia on your tour?
The guides have lived in Philly for years! They will incorporate important information about the neighborhood you are touring.

Q: I live in the city. Is the tour still good for me?
Absolutely! On the tour you will explore hidden places that you probably don't know about, meet the owners and other food experts and learn many new things about food. You will see some of the coolest spots in the city and experience your hometown in a totally new way.

Q: What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?
Please let the guide know what you cannot eat at the beginning of the tour. Your guide will do everything possible to arrange substitutes for you. If you need to skip the food at a particular stop, your guide will make sure you get an extra sample at another stop.

Q: Is the tour wheelchair accessible?
Many of the stops on the tour are totally wheelchair accessible, while some are not. However, anyone in a wheelchair is welcome to come on the tour. Please provide advanced notice if you require wheelchair assistance and we will make any necessary accommodations.

Q: Should I give the guide a tip?
Yes. If you enjoyed the tour, we recommend that you give the guide (and assistant if it's a larger tour) a gratuity. They take pride in what they do and appreciate positive feedback. What you tip is up to you. If you want a rule of thumb, $5.00 per person is an average tip.
